DDR5 memory up to 6400MT/s provides more room for multitasking, while PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage shortens boot, app loading, and file access times. Support for up to 64GB memory leaves space for future needs.

With a 28W CPU TDP in Balanced Mode, M2 Air keeps full-load CPU temperatures at around 72—80°C, delivering controlled thermals for long-hour office, retail, networking, and home media use. Preliminary internal whole-system power measurements: approximately 39.4W under full load, 11.5W during video playback, and 9.5W at idle.
Low Noise, Less Distraction
M2 Air operates at around 28.1dB under full load in Silent Mode and around 32.7dB in Balanced Mode. Refined airflow and fan control make it suitable for offices, reception desks, bedrooms, and dorm rooms.
