With adoption of the USB3.2 Gen2 protocol, D2-320 provides a 10Gbps data transmission bandwidth, with the actual read/write speed up to 521MB/s when 2 hard drives are installed (2x Seagate Eoxs 22TB in RAID 0); with two hard disk installed, the reading speed could reach 1075MB/s (2x SAMSUNG 870QVO 1TB SSD in RAID 0).
Storage up to 44TB
D2-320 supports up to 2 hard drives and a maximum drive capacity of 22TB (the compatibility with larger hard drives not verified yet), providing users with a storage space up to 44TB (22TB x 2).
Compatible with Various Hard Drives
D2-320 is compatible with various drives, such as 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA hard disks, and 2.5-inch SATA SSD.
Remark: using incompatible hard disk may cause your device disconnected, with low speed and failure in hard disk recognition. Before you purchase, please be sure to check the compatibility list of TerraMaster hard disks.
Multiple RAID Modes
Supports multiple RAID modes: RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD, and Single Disk. Professionals can choose one or more according to their application scenarios.
Convenient to swap hard drives
The D2-320 features a tool-free hard drive tray design that allows for easy installation and removal of hard drives without the need for any tools. Furthermore, the D2-320 incorporates a brand new Push-lock unique design from TerraMaster, which automatically locks the hard drive tray when you insert the hard drive, preventing the hard drive from falling out or disconnecting. As a result, installing a hard drive takes less than 10 seconds, providing great convenience for users who frequently swap hard drives to exchange data.
Strong Interface Compatibility
D2-320 is equipped with a USB Type-C interface and a USB Type-C to Type-C cable (0.8 meter in length), and could be compatible with a variety of computer interfaces: USB 3.0/USB 3.1/USB 3.2/Thunderbolt 3/Thunderbolt 4.
Expansion of NAS Storage Space
D2-320 can be connected to the USB interface of TerraMaster NAS after special adaptation and adjustment. Creating arrays and storage pools on D2-320 with TerraMaster TOS could expand the storage space of NAS. Remark: this function works only on TerraMaster NAS running TOS 5.1 or above.
D2-320 supports the sleep function, which can follow the computer OS to sleep, effectively reducing the working duration and power consumption of the hard disk, and extending its service life.
Safer
To prevent equipment and hard disk from being damaged by use of an improper power supply, D2-320 adopts the power supply protection. In case of an improper power supply connected, the device will enable automatic protection to prevent itself and the hard disk from damage.
Very Quiet
D2-320 adopts an intelligent temperature-controlled and low-noise fan that adjusts its speed automatically based on the temperature of the hard disk to ensure the hard disk to work at the best operating temperature. Furthermore, the internal structure of the device is specially optimized, which not only effectively increases the internal air pressure and reduces the working temperature of the hard disk, but also greatly reduces the resonance between device components and the hard disk.With this feature, D2-320 can maintain satisfactory low noise even under a full-load working environment.

Power-On Recovery Function
This product features a power-on recovery memory function, intelligently handling various power loss scenarios. When the D2-320 is shut down properly, it remains off when power is restored. However, if the device shuts down due to an abnormal power outage, it will automatically power on when electricity is restored. This feature makes the D2-320 an excellent choice for integration with servers, NAS devices, and other systems, enabling automated and unattended management.
