Ubiquiti Unifi (UXG-Max) Gateway Max
Ubiquiti UniFi Gateway Max is a compact, multi-WAN UniFi gateway for small-to-medium-sized sites that require high-performance routing and advanced security. The UXG-Max is a dedicated gateway that requires a separate UniFi Network Server or Cloud Key for management.

  • Processor & Memory : Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 at 1.5 GHz, with 2 GB DDR4 memory.
  • 2.5 GbE Ports : The UXG-Max is equipped with five RJ-45 ports that support 2.5 GbE speeds: one WAN port and four LAN ports.
  • High-speed Performance : The device delivers up to 1.5 Gbps of routing performance with Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (IDS/IPS) enabled.
  • Multi-WAN Support : It features one dedicated 2.5 GbE WAN port and a second LAN port that can be remapped to a WAN connection, allowing for multi-WAN load balancing or failover for internet redundancy.
  • Advanced Security : It offers next-generation security features including a stateful firewall, application-aware firewall rules, signature-based IDS/IPS, and content, country, and ad filtering.
  • Managed via UniFi Network : To be configured and managed, the UXG-Max requires a UniFi Network controller, such as a UniFi Cloud Key or a self-hosted UniFi Network Server.
  • Flexible VPN Support : The gateway supports a variety of VPN protocols, including WireGuard, L2TP, OpenVPN, and UniFi's Teleport VPN.
