FAQ
Q: Can I upgrade the memory and SSD?
A: Yes. The K12 uses SO-DIMM memory slots and ships with 32GB DDR5 5600MT/s, upgradeable to 96GB. For storage it has 3 M.2 2280 slots (1x PCIe 4.0 x4, 2x PCIe 4.0 x2), up to 8TB each and 24TB in total.
Q: What can I do with OCuLink?
A: The rear OCuLink port (PCIe 4.0 x4) connects an OCuLink eGPU dock with a desktop graphics card to boost gaming, video editing and AI performance. The dock and GPU are sold separately. OCuLink is not hot-pluggable, so connect or disconnect it only when the PC is powered off.
Q: Is it good for gaming or AI?
A: Radeon 780M runs popular online games smoothly and some AAA titles at low to medium settings. Because the memory can be expanded, it can also run small local LLMs. For demanding AAA games or larger AI models, we recommend adding an eGPU via OCuLink.
Q: How do warranty repairs work?
A: You get a 2-year Hong Kong warranty. Bring the unit to our repair centre at Room 712, 7/F, Century Centre, Kwun Tong (drop-off and collection only).
Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: Yes. Choose self-pickup at Unit 710, 7/F, Century Centre, Kwun Tong (Mon–Fri 10:10–12:30, 13:30–17:30), or choose free delivery.
